What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
If you experience a fault within 30 days, please contact us with photos and we’ll assess the issue.
We do not accept returns simply because you changed your mind.
What materials are ADEL jewellery made from?
ADEL pieces are crafted from stainless steel or sterling silver bases, finished with durable PVD gold bonding for long-wearing colour.
Is it solid gold?
ADEL focuses on modern essentials crafted for everyday wear. Our gold finishes allow us to offer considered pieces at an accessible price point, so it is gold but not solid gold.
What does PVD mean?
PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is a modern finishing process that creates a stronger, more resilient gold layer than traditional plating. It means more durability for you as a buyer.
Can I wear ADEL jewellery every day?
Yes. ADEL pieces are designed for daily wear. While all jewellery benefits from care, our materials are selected to move with you through everyday life.

Will it tarnish?
Our PVD finishes are more resistant to fading and tarnishing than standard gold plating. Proper care will extend the life of your pieces.
How should I care for my jewellery?
Avoid harsh chemicals, store pieces separately, and wipe gently after wear to maintain their finish.
Are any purchases final sale?
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location, we say to allow 2-5 business days once the items is shipped as we cannot control Courier deliveries.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.
How much does shipping cost?
You will always know the shipping price before you purchase. We use a couple of different carriers, with Aramex, Post Haste and NZ Post being options. We ship within 48 hours of a sale at the very latest and will notify you of tracking details. Rural shipping is an extra charge.
As of yet, we do not ship to Australia, but intend to in late 2026.
Where is ADEL based?
ADEL is based in the South Island of New Zealand and ships locally (NZ Wide).
We will look at expanding to shipping to Australia in late 2026.
